I'm not sure you can convert per se, but the next best thing: You can create a blank shape-note score (using a supplied template), then open the "regular" document, copy its contents, and paste them into the shape-note template. ![]() If I have already scored a piece in normal round notes, can I convert the entire piece to shape notes in one fell swoop? Do you have to pick a shape every time you score a note? I.e, if I am writing in the key of C major, do I have to pick a "pyramid" shape every time I need a C, or can I just click on the "C" on the staff and the software automatically knows what shape to use? (It would be terribly tedious if I had to specify the shape for every note.)ģ. Does the PrintMusic version of Finale have the shape note font?Ģ.
